Babbling Brook of Destruction

My little baby boy is growing up so fast! He spends most of his time exploring the house, ransacking whatever containers, cupboards or shelves he can. He's still doing his monkey crawl, but is cruising along the furniture a lot. In the past week or two he's started standing and balancing for longer stretches (once for about 3 minutes before he realized it and then squatted down!). He talks constantly and is doing about 8 or 9 signs now. The other day he said "ba-oon" and I think he's trying to say "bahh" for ball. He doesn't seemed to bothered by his lack of vocabulary, though, and just babbles CONSTANTLY! He is especially chatty when we are outside.

On Halloween, we took him to the zoo (Daniel's second time, first time with Daddy). He was tired by the end, but we had a blast, especially in the monkey house. He was so interested in those loud and erratic creatures jumping around, banging on the glass. Daniel would start talking and pointing telling us all about the monkey and then it would fly around it's cage and Daniel would stop mid-babble and look at us with super-wide eyes! Very funny. In the evening, we dressed him up as a monkey and went to his Uncle David's birthday party and went trick or treating with his cousins. He was pretty much worn out! I'll post some picks of him at the zoo and in costume!
