acorns in the microwave & standing tall

D-boy has jumped with both feet into make-believe. Three weeks ago, if he was dressed up and you asked if he was Batman he would respond, "No, I just D-boy." Two weeks ago he suddenly was Batman. Or Superman. Or Green Lantern. One day he was a boat. :) This has permeated all of his play. He spends most of his day play-acting now. We've been doing "field-trips" on Fridays (hikes, etc) and went to the World Bird Sanctuary this weekend. He wore his super-hero cape
the entire day and collected hands & pockets full of acorns (which was "food for Daddy"). And which were put promptly into the microwave to cook.


G-girl is standing by herself. Actually she pulled herself to a stand 2 days after she started scooting (yikes!). But this week she actually let go and balanced for a little while. Slow down baby, slow down!
