Things I never thought I'd say...

Me- "Well, honey, I don't think you should be playing with bullets or batteries. It's not safe."
Mr Man- "But I'm using the battery to make a bullet."

Of course. Now it's all clear.

ETA: I feel the need to clarify that he wasn't playing with any real bullets. They don't have a place in our home as no one hunts. He was constructing some crazy fantasy that involved turning a AA battery into a bullet for some made-up gun. Hence the above conversation. Cause, yk, I wouldn't want anyone in blogland to think my kid was playing with bullets or anything. mkay.
