Baby girl weighs 16lbs and is a whopping 25 inches long. She talks to us constantly, is rolling both ways easily and is trying desperately to crawl. (she's kinda rocking and scooting and face-planting every time she ends up on her stomach... it's really awkward looking, even painful but a definite attempt to move her body forward.. with some success, too I might add!)

D-boy is sassy, wiggly and generally covered in marker these days. On our road trip to Atlanta and back he occupied himself for hours by drawing on his arms and legs and face. I couldn't reach my camera unfortunately but he definitely looked like some crazy-tattoed urban tribe kid. All that was missing were the dreadlocks and piercings! He's full of funny questions these days as he tries to figure out the world around him. It's fun to see how he's switched gears from exploring his world with his presence (hands, feet, motion, etc) to exploring the world with his mind. Yesterday as soon as he woke up from his nap he asked, "Mama, does Wonder Woman run?" (which we had to ask Daddy cause Mama doesn't know!). Today it was "Does this pen write letters?" which is a good question to ask since he generally uses pens to draw lines on himself instead of seeing anyone use it to "write letters."
